We are seeking a person to fill a Full Time – 12 months Parental leave position to help us make an impact.
This role is perfect for someone looking to support people to live the life they choose and develop their career in the industry.
This role is part of the Senior Leadership Team, providing guidance and support to Team Leaders to deliver quality support to people with disability in line with regulatory requirements and best practice standards.
You will work closely with the Executive Director of Operations and your team, using your strong interpersonal and communication skills to support Team Leaders and Direct Support Professionals and implement continuous quality improvements.
Key qualities include empathy, strong leadership, excellent communication, advocacy skills, adaptability and commitment to development.
This role focuses on: Establish best practice service models, business systems, policies and procedures to reflect organisational values, cultural responsiveness and zero tolerance of any behaviour or circumstance that does not uphold clients rights.
Drive data-informed improvements to models of support and resource allocation.
Ensure staff can access the appropriate training, resources, supervision and expertise required to build their capability and deliver quality, best practice support.
Develop and implement safe systems of work and ensure that staff are able and encouraged to identify and manage workplace safety risks for clients, themselves and others.
Manage the sustainability of programs to ensure continuity of services.
Ideally in your toolkit you will have: Tertiary qualification in Community Services, Disability, Health, Management or related discipline.
At least 5 years of experience in human services management or a similar role.
Knowledge of CLRS's legal and regulatory frameworks.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and funding bodies, using excellent communication skills.
Experience in supervising and engaging diverse teams, coaching staff, prioritizing tasks, and leading teams to meet goals on time and within budget.
Skilled in creating detailed documents, reports, managing budgets, and developing policies and procedures.
Commitment to reducing restrictive practices, with experience in positive behaviour management and active support.
Respect for human, cultural, and religious rights and beliefs.
Work Location: Echuca.
Work Hours: 8:30 – 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
Essential requirements: NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Evidence of three doses of COVID-19 vaccination or medical exemption.
Current First Aid.
Working with Children Check card.
Current Australia driver's licence.
