About The Role Have you explored working in private practice during 2023, enjoyed the experience but are now starting to miss being part of a larger multidisciplinary team, working towards realistic targets (60%), the ability to focus on quality and not quantity, admin support along with readily available resource kits and a mixture of NDIS and Non NDIS clients? We are a fantastic team of allied health professionals who provide therapy to customers with a wide range of diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, and Intellectual Disability.
You will be delivering services in schools, our clinics, in homes and some community settings.
Full or part time positions available and experienced Grade 1 and 2's are encouraged to apply.
In this role you will: Work with school-aged children in primary and secondary schools across Barwon, to deliver services and supports to students with physical disabilities or chronic health impairments.
Deliver goal-directed therapy to children and young people who are experiencing learning, language, sensory, intellectual, physical, and cognitive difficulties in the Barwon clinic, and our customers' homes, schools, and online.
Undertake communication assessments and interventions.
Provide evidence-based interventions and services that build on customer's strengths and develop sustainable long-term solutions.
Emphasise parent, teacher, and carer education to nurture change.
Collaborate with a dynamic team of speech pathologists, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists, to provide holistic customer care.
Work within a range of funding models, including NDIS and school-based funding.
