Tax Specialist

ABOUT THE COMPANY Our client is a diversified ASX-listed financial services firm, with platform, technology, superannuation, and administration arms.
Due to growth, they are currently looking to bring a Tax Specialist onto their investment operations team.
This team is part of the broader investment operations unit, which includes teams focused on corporate actions, asset administration, asset transfers, and tax.
The tax team's primary responsibility is to ensure the integrity of each account's investments and to facilitate the production of accurate tax statements for clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responding to taxation and technical queries from internal and external stakeholders Contributing to year-end tax projects and preparing client tax statements Reviewing and processing taxable components for income received on platforms Managing complex client transactions Identifying discrepancies in client accounts Preparing special-purpose reports for external stakeholders Assisting with system enhancements, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE: CA or CPA qualification is highly regarded 3+ years of experience in a taxation-focused position Strong knowledge of ASX securities (including warrants, LICs, ETFs), international assets, bonds, managed funds, and other unlisted investments Strong oral and written communication skills A self-motivated individual If you would like to learn more, please apply at the link below or send your CV to ******.
