Join and shape Technology Solutions in Jetstar Group Technology Full time permanent opportunity based at our head office in Collingwood As the Technology Innovation Manager , you will collaborate with internal teams to design tailored technology solutions and support their implementation for innovation and efficiency.
A key part of your role will involve working with stakeholders to identify use cases and success metrics and obtaining executive buy-in.
You will also be responsible for identifying the right vendors to partner with for the development of our use cases.

The Technology and Innovation Manager will support the development and implementation of Jet Star's broader strategic roadmap through the appropriate use of innovative technologies, contributing to the strategy and roadmap for our innovation initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
This role will contribute solution-focused engagement, collaborating with a broad range of business areas to ensure technology and other related solutions deliver full value, meet all relevant standards, and ensure Jetstar & Qantas Group Technology collaboration and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: Drive implementation of technology and other related solutions leveraging new and innovative technologies.
Evaluate and implement cutting-edge innovation solutions and proofs of concept (POCs), leveraging new technologies and systems to address complex business challenges.
Oversee the end-to-end process of innovation solutions from ideation and prototyping to potential productionisation.
Develop and drive practices and a culture that accelerate the deployment of technology tools and solutions, ensuring that they are harmonised with existing systems and processes.
Support delivery of keystone use-case(s) to demonstrate Jetstar's unique ability to innovate and disrupt.
Support the development and implementation of Jet Star's broader strategic roadmap through the appropriate use of innovative technologies.
Contribute to the strategy and roadmap for our innovation initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
Define criteria and frameworks for new innovation initiatives, ensuring clear prioritisation and delivery processes.
Accelerate the maturity of emerging technology capabilities, including governance, platforms, processes, responsible AI, and use cases.
Develop and implement strategies for fostering innovation, including new technologies (e.g.
Gen AI, computer vision), culture, processes, and methodologies.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
7-10+ years of experience in project management and innovation processes leadership positions.
Experience in professional services or consulting is preferred.
Strong passion for and understanding of Gen AI, NLP, computer vision, or other AI domains.
Proven experience in identifying innovation opportunities and gathering requirements.
Experience in successfully launching innovation solutions.
Knowledge of data analytics, technology, and governance.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven problem-solving skills with the capacity to perform under pressure.
Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Demonstrated ability to operate at senior level including presenting and running meetings/workshops.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment to coordinate, manage, and develop innovation projects.
Strong commercial acumen and entrepreneurial mindset.
