Trades Assistant

Ventia, in partnership with the Australian Defence Force are currently seeking a Trades Assistant to join the team at Bandiana, located in the North East of Melbourne in the Albury and Wodonga area.
Ventia are currently looking to hire a
Trades Assistant
working at our Defence site in
Bandiana , within a well-established maintenance team. This role will see you support trades personnel in a repair and refurbishment mechanical workshop.
Whats On Offer
Permanent Position - 38 hours per week
Attractive pay rate of $35.99 per hour
Opportunity to develop your skills further
Duties And Responsiblites, But Not Limited To
Helping trades personnel with all types of work in the workshop
Assisting in maintenance and storeroom tasks
Maintaining the work area in a neat and orderly manner
Operating plant and equipment where qualified and licenced to do so
Licenses, Attributes And Qualifications
Must be an Australian Citizen to work on a Defence Base
Hold a current Driver's License
Have a great attitude, a good work ethic and complete tasks with minimal supervision
Additional experience would also be highly desirable;
