Our client is a highly regarded, fast growing and still nimble company in the Fleet Management industry. With offices across the country and a significant fleet that is continuing to build in size, this company is able to offer their staff significant opportunities for growth and earnings. At this time they are looking to hire a State Sales Manager for their Melbourne office to oversee the Victorian sales operation.
Role on offer
Reporting to the National Sales Manager who themselves boasts over 20 years in the industry, your role will be to oversee the new business and relationship management teams in the Melbourne office. You will mentor, develop and measure deliverables for a strong close knit team in the Melbourne office. You will work with your team and customers to ensure that new fleet business opportunities are created, discovered, and converted, and that the customer relationships are robust and mutually beneficial.
This Role Is Also Responsible For
Monitor and report on state sales activities back to senior management and provide input to national sales management team conversations.
Attend industry functions when required.
Recommendation of credit applications for new facilities and subsequent annual reviews.
Product training.
Staff reviews.
Compliance to in-house systems.
Remuneration For This Role Will Include

Selection Criteria
To be considered for this role you must possess the following skills and experience:
Exceptional leadership qualities and ability to nurture and develop your team and customer relationships.
Ability and experience to lead new business and account management teams.
Extensive knowledge of vehicle finance products as well as fleet related products and services.
Previous experience and achievement in new business development.
Experience managing or leading a team that has managed a client portfolio.
Trustworthy and display impeccable moral and ethical standards.
