They provide efficient administrative support within the team and work closely with the Surgical Liaison Nurses to ensure patients are safely prepared for their elective procedure.
Duties Include: Receive and process waiting list forms from specialist clinics, private rooms and other areas of St Vincent's within stipulated time frame as per DHHS Elective Surgery Access Policy Accurately create, record and update the Waiting List Screen on Patient Administration System (PAS) as required Contact patients and schedule admission for procedures Schedule any appointments, that may include pre admission clinic, anaesthetic clinic, perioperative medicine unit (PMU) clinic and any associated investigations as requested by the SLN or unit Classifications for this position will be HS1 - HS17 ($58,442 - $64,610 per annum pro rata) Your Contribution Relevant experience in administration in a healthcare role Experience with patient administration systems Working knowledge of Microsoft office including Outlook, MS Teams, Share Point, Word and Excel Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain What we Offer A focus on wellbeing initiatives, with regular events and programs Confidential, solutions-focused employee counselling A healthy work/life balance encouraged.

They are responsible for the case management and coordination of care for patients from when they go on the surgical waitlist until they are scheduled and have their procedure.
