Account Manager, IC Capital and Consumables, VIC East Location: Melbourne, AU Company: Getinge Australia Pty Ltd Remote Work: Field Reporting to our National Sales Manager Infection control, the Account Manager - Infection Control position is responsible for the direction and management of all Sales and Business Development for the Getinge Infection Control (Capital and Consumables) portfolio.
You will be responsible for looking after and growing our customer base in the allocated Victorian Territory.
This role is based in Melbourne with regional travel being a requirement of this position.
In this role you will be responsible for: Implementation of the CSSD Infection Control and Endoscope Reprocessing Strategic Sales Plan across the assigned Territory Business Development.
Identify new market opportunities, drive growth and direct marketing operations.
Directly manage client accounts.
Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company's customer base.
Increase market share of CSSD Infection Control and Endoscope Reprocessing products throughout each year consistent or greater than corporate market share goals.
Develop and maintain key customer relationships in keeping with Corporate Revenue and Profit Growth goals.
Liaise with Commercial Operations and consult on Corporate Partnerships, Sales Effectiveness and Training, Contracts, Tenders, Bids and Projects.
Participate in the development of new project proposals.
Liaise with Projects in the development and implementation of new projects.
Identify new high-growth markets for new products, develop strategic plan and business strategies for new products, identifying new revenue streams for existing product lines and lead annual market analysis by intelligence gathering on customers and competitors.
Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company and promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.
Collaboration with Operations and Finance, aim for accuracy of inventory planning and forecasting and general internal warehousing process compliance by commercial team members.
Skills and Experience: Knowledge in Sales related techniques Experience working in a CSSD setting of a hospital would be advantageous Strong ability to plan and manage territory at both the strategic and operational levels Robust impact and presence, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and influence people Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive-level customers and partners.
