Join our Tender team on a permanent basis in Melbourne CBD or Dandenong , as a Bid Cost Manager.
This position will focus on tender activities for some of the largest Manufacturing and Infrastructure rail projects in Australia.
The BID Cost Manager has good negotiation skills and strong understanding of the tender process, including optimizing cash flow and pricing target.
Key Responsibilities: Define and improve cost structures according to RFP.
Establish target cost per activities and/or sub system, matching with winning price and identified gaps versus Reference Solution.
Conduct cost estimation activities based on target cost approach.
Control the level of robustness of the costing using Costing robustness assessment grid.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Strong experience identifying product, associated costs, and operational flows.
Demonstrated ability to analyse and challenge contributor's commitments.
Proven knowledge of financial rules and contractual aspects including bonds, guarantees, hedging, insurances, and taxes.
Current experience as a Bid Costing Specialist leading negotiation activity.
Proficient in Ms Office and Power BI.
