Brand Ambassador, MORRIS Australian Single Malt Whisky Job no: 967359 Work type: Part time Location: Melbourne Categories: Seeking a self-motivated Brand Ambassador who's passionate about the Australian Whisky Category and would love to work on the fastest growing Australian Single Malt Whisky brand.
This role must inspire customers and trade to become advocates for our whisky brands and expressions.
You must be comfortable talking to trade and consumers, in front of a camera or behind a microphone and be passionate about discussing the brand but also talking about the Whisky category as a whole.
You must educate, activate, inspire, communicate, connect and engage with key influencers for our brands and convert those relationships to have ongoing commercial outcomes with sales opportunities.
This role requires a high level of self-management as it requires the person to independently lead the Morris brand for planning and prioritising based on opportunity and commercial return.
The role also works in partnership with Marketing and our sales Distributor to deliver brand-led promotional activity to Customer and Consumer.
This position is a part-time, 4 days per week position which will be based in Melbourne with some interstate travel required, with Sydney as a priority.
Skills and Experience +5yrs Spirits (preferable Whisky) industry knowledge and commercial experience Previous experience in brand ambassador role ideal but not essential.
A passion for Australian whisky and/or Australian craft spirits.
Proven excellence within On-Premise environment, ideally still active in this area.
Comfortable public speaking in front of camera and behind a microphone.
Ability to create engaging social media content for personal profile and brand.
Experienced bartender, with an understanding of how brands work in the changing face of the on-trade Independent networking skills and ability to identify active opportunities for brand Project management and planning skills Ability to think and act both strategically and tactically to deliver on brand objectives.
Able to develop an annual and quarterly operations plan plus report monthly on activity Exposure with global markets to support with online tastings, education and brand immersion.
Engagement with target whisky consumers online to drive brand dialogue and brand advocacy.
