Change & Communications Manager - Expat Role Change & Communications Manager – Expat Role in Port Moresby We are seeking a talented and experienced Change & Communications Manager for an exciting opportunity in Port Moresby working for one of the leading Banks in the Pacific Region.
In this full-time position, you will be responsible for managing, developing, and implementing the internal and external communications strategy for the Group – including public/media relations, social media monitoring, and change management.
Reporting to the Head of Customer Experience, you will play a critical role in shaping our corporate image and driving cohesive messaging to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and implement communication strategies to effectively manage the framework, medium, and messaging priorities – including crisis management for the Group.
Design change management framework including impact analysis, change load, and change readiness assessments to support embedment of strategic initiatives across the Group and create a mindset of change.
Proactive management of all internal and external stakeholders to effectively deliver change adoption.
Press & Media Management: Develop and disseminate press releases, maintaining strong relationships with media outlets.
Public Relations Strategy: Design and implement PR strategies to enhance the company's public perception.
Social Media, Website & Digital Content Management: Oversee digital content strategies to optimise online engagement as well as managing corporate messaging across website and all social media mediums.
Media Monitoring: Track media coverage and measure the success of PR campaigns.
Management of Group corporate communication policies.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Change Management, Communications, PR, Journalism, or related field.
5+ years' experience in corporate communications and PR management.
Change Management qualification or experience in managing large scale change programs.
Expertise in social media, media relations, and change management communications.
Proven ability to craft compelling narratives and manage crisis communication.
Strong project management, interpersonal, and strategic planning skills.
Proficiency with digital communication tools and social media platforms.
Adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience working with C-suite executives and managing communications across multiple business units.
