The opportunity The Finance Analyst position is responsible for providing proactive and effective financial support and advice to the Non-Residential Aged Care teams, and the Catering and Repairs & Maintenance functional General Managers within the Corporate Office.
The important role you'll play Key responsibilities include: Delivery of month end (including board reports) and financial reporting & analysis Continuous improvement in delivery of the role (reporting automation, dashboards, process improvement, month-end efficiencies) Accurately evaluating the financial performance of the areas above having regard to key performance metrics and operational activity Contribute to the development of operational business plans by providing high quality financial analysis and decision support Consolidation and critical review of budgets and forecast Provide support to the Management Accounting & Reporting Manager, Head of FP&A, GM Finance, CFO and operational executives as required.
What you'll bring to the role Business / Commerce Degree in Accounting or Finance Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA) or Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA) 5 years' experience in a corporate or Assurance environment Strong knowledge of Australian or International Financial Reporting Standards (AIFRS or IFRS) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Commitment to continuous improvement and delivering outstanding results High level of drive, motivation, resilience and initiative Effective organisation and time management skills Strong problem-solving skills Honesty and integrity Accuracy and attention to detail Ability and desire to grow with the organisation What our people love about working here As a team that supports older people to live life on their terms, we genuinely care - for our people, our work and the elderly.
