Reporting to our Finance Business Partner Manager, you will be responsible for providing timely, quality reporting and analysis, driving the annual planning and budgeting process, and improving operational processes.
You will prepare and analyze monthly reports, forecasts, and budgets, competitor and industry analysis, and assistance in the development of the annual accounts.
Key initiatives include the development of business performance analytics and reporting capabilities to monitor business performance, coaching business leaders to apply a commercial mindset, and collating insights to help business leaders make informed operational and strategic decisions.
You will also provide performance results to management and key stakeholders as well as share key findings and analysis with the wider organization.
Your day-to-day duties include: Lead with a customer mindset to drive outcomes that will enable our business leaders and their operations.
Establish strong and trusted working relationships with business leaders to understand and support their needs.
Provide extensive business, competitor, and industry analysis to deliver insights that assist in developing and executing a range of strategies that contribute to the achievement of organizational goals.
Work with business leaders to identify and establish reporting metrics that will assist them in making informed and strategic business decisions.
Manage and coordinate the annual strategic planning process; assist stakeholders with the development of annual plans, the annual budget, and quarterly forecasts in an accurate and timely manner.
Work on or contribute to key projects as agreed with the Business Partnering Finance Manager, Head of Analytics and Business Partnering, and CFO.
About you: Previous experience in a similar role, ideally degree and CPA qualified.
Passion for helping stakeholders and being a trusted business partner.
An ability to coach and influence decision-making to drive commercial decision-making.
Excellent attention to detail, exceptional research, analytical, and data interpretation skills.
Proven ability to synthesize financial and non-financial data and present sound recommendations based on analysis.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and data visualization platform experience, with exposure to Great Plains and Cognos TM1.
