THE ROLEThey are seeking to appoint an experienced Finance Director to join their dynamic team and play a key role in driving their financial strategy. In this position, you will report into the CEO and work closely with the Partners, overseeing a range of accounting activities to ensure the financial control requirements of the business are met. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering growth and operational excellence. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage monthly practice management accounts, reporting, and variance analysis Oversee the group's financial statements on a monthly and quarterly basis Produce performance, consolidated, and divisional reports with analytical reviews Prepare the firm's budget, including Profit & Loss, Cashflow, and Balance Sheet Monitor finances and cash flow, including WIP and Debtors days Develop strategic initiatives to streamline operations and boost profitability Manage creditor payments in line with cashflow Liaise with banks regarding firm borrowings and financing needs Assist the CEO in identifying and evaluating new business opportunities Handle practice insurance, including management liability, ISR and public liability. Contribute to strategic plan development and implementation, ensuring measurable outcomes.
