About the role Are you ready to shape the future of finance in the electrification sector? Join our team as a Finance Manager - Electrification & Innovation and become a key player in driving financial excellence and strategic growth.
Based in Melbourne, you will provide expert financial and commercial advice and analytical support to the Electrification & Innovation business, including specialist technical advice and support to management on complex operational and strategic matters.
What you'll be doing Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, Customer Ops and Emerging Business you will: Provide expert financial and commercial advice to the Electrification & Innovation division, ensuring sound decision-making on complex operational and strategic matters.
Establish and enforce robust controls and governance frameworks, integrating and consolidating data across multiple systems for seamless operations.
Tackle complex accounting challenges, drive innovative solutions for emerging business propositions, and conduct in-depth investigations to support robust financial decisions.
Oversee budget and forecast processes, engage with key stakeholders to ensure financial targets are clear, understood, and met.
Drive continuous improvement in finance systems and processes, manage critical financial reports, and resolve key issues in collaboration with tech and business experts.
Lead, develop, and inspire a team, fostering a positive team culture focused on development, and succession planning.
About you What you'll bring to the table Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with experience partnering with senior leadership teams.
CA/CPA/ACA/MBA qualified with a strong track record in financial modelling and analysis.
Advanced user of ERP systems (preferably SAP) and MS Office tools (Excel, Power Point, Word).
Demonstrated experience in managing month-end close and finance planning processes.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills, with a proven ability to present complex data in an accessible manner.
Leadership capability - proven experience leading a team, informally or formally.
