Finance Manager

Finance Manager Location: Melbourne, VICIndustry: Renewable Energy - Independent Power Producer Type: Permanent, Full Time I am working with a global renewable energy IPP that is expanding its global presence in the Australian market.
As part of this expansion, the business is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join the team as the first finance manager in the Australian business.
You will have the opportunity to shape the direction of the finance function while also utilizing the existing overseas teams.
This role touches every aspect of Finance from Treasury, Accounting, Tax, internal controls, and Audit.
Responsibilities Oversee preparation of timely and accurate financial reports, including P&L statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, and other finance functions in preparing monthly financial reporting, management accounts, and financial analysis.
Strategic planning and execution of fund management, organizing and advancing fund management work for each project.
Execute Tax governance activities for the business in accordance with Australian tax requirements while providing tax advisory on business-related issues.
Collaborate with Regional / Global Treasury function for funding requirements of the Australian business.
Key Requirements CPA / CA Qualified.
10 years of experience in finance with exposure to project financing, accounting, and finance execution.
Experience setting up a new Finance entity (preferred).
Melbourne Based.
