What You'll Do We are seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to support a variety of financial operations, including expenditure processing, supplier payments, and revenue management.
This role involves ensuring timely payments to suppliers, managing debt collections, and maintaining accurate accounting operations in line with organizational and government standards.
You will also be responsible for maintaining the Assets Register, reviewing daily bank statements, and ensuring compliance with GST and FBT requirements.
The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders, providing guidance on finance-related matters and contributing to the overall financial integrity of the organisation.
You will also assist with the new ERP implementation which the organization is embarking on.
What You'll Bring The successful candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications or substantial equivalent work experience in financial transaction processing, including cash management.
You should have a solid understanding of legislation and standards to ensure compliance with government and accounting requirements, as well as knowledge of accrual accounting, taxation, and FBT principles.
Experience in processing tax invoices, preparing BAS returns, and using complex computerized accounting systems is essential.
Additionally, you should be proficient in Excel and Word, and capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines.
