YOUR ROLE Join us as an Indirect Tax Manager and assist with the development of IAG's tax risk management framework.
With the support of the wider tax team, this advisory role involves engaging effectively with internal stakeholders by providing advice on indirect tax issues (GST, stamp and/or payroll tax) to the IAG business to ensure compliance with tax legislation.
By doing so, you will help to maintain IAG's strong reputation with Government Taxation bodies.
This opportunity is best suited to a tax professional looking to advance their career in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
This is a permanent role and can be based in Sydney or Melbourne.
About You 3+ years experience working in GST and if possible, other indirect taxation such as stamp duty and payroll tax.
Good knowledge of general insurance industry or financial services preferred.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to influence stakeholders.
