Direct Marketing & CRM (Marketing & Communications) Full time The Marketing Automation Specialist will strategically plan, implement and optimise the communication program across lifecycle journeys and automated cross-channel personalisation.
This role will execute multi-channel CRM campaigns that drive customer engagement and enhance our customer's experience to deliver business growth.
Key Responsibilities: Strategy, planning and delivery of the customer and member CRM communication program.
Execute end-to-end cross-channel campaigns, including email, social, search, and online, with the potential to expand into new channels.
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop campaign strategies and implement automated solutions that align with business objectives and target audience segments.
Manage audience targeting by creating customer segments within the Customer Data Platform and marketing technologies to execute ad hoc and trigger-based campaigns and personalised experiences.
Identify, design, build, and deploy automated marketing campaigns, workflows, and nurture programs that optimise customer journeys and lead conversion.
Coordinate with stakeholders across the business (Digital, Marketing, Online, IT Engineering, etc.) to develop and deliver campaigns and personalised content.
Create and manage dynamic content, including copywriting and design briefs.
Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics (e.g.
click-through rates, conversion rates, lead scoring) and analyse data to optimise campaigns for improved outcomes.
Manage a test and learn program, with the goal of increasing conversion and delivering incremental sales uplift.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation efficiencies to streamline marketing operations and enhance scalability.
Administer and maintain marketing automation systems to ensure effective campaign execution and lead management.
Stay informed of emerging trends and how they influence the evolution of marketing communication strategies.
About you: Degree or post-graduate qualifications in Marketing, Business or a related field.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a marketing automation role, ideally within the retail sector.
Proven experience managing a large-scale customer communications program.
Strong hands-on experience developing and managing cross-channel automated communications across various segments, working with CDPs, ESP and automation technologies.
Experience with HTML/CSS and familiarity with basic scripting languages for customisation within automation platforms is a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Highly organised and planned yet able to pivot in a fast-paced environment.
Meets deadlines.
Ability to prioritise short and long-term tasks effectively.
Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with diverse teams to drive customer-focused outcomes.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
Deep understanding of CRM data fields/structures and application to deliver automated marketing.
Technically savvy and strong at all aspects of campaign creation and management.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
A creative thinker who explores new ideas and innovative solutions.
Strong attention to detail.
Advanced MS Office Skills.
