About the Division The Information Management and Technology Division (IMTD) guides the Departments' digital capability and is leading digital transformation for the Department including Victorian government schools.
The Division architects, manages and supports the largest technology network in Victoria, supporting a user base of approximately 750,000 staff and students.
IMTD provides innovation and leadership in the transformation and management of the Department's digital capability through the implementation of solutions on the department's cloud environment (Iaa S), enterprise cloud platforms (Paa S) and software (Saa S), using agile practices with a focus on user experience, security, and integration.

This position sits within the Experience Design team of the Digital Design and Innovation Branch.
The branch is responsible for all product delivery, including experience design and agile methods to meet increasing demand.
About the Role Product Managers work closely with the delivery team and the business to create and improve a product or service, ensuring it meets user and business needs.
They are responsible for prioritising product component delivery, according to greatest value.
Key Responsibilities: Drive the strategic product vision across relevant individual product roadmaps using product management and design thinking methodologies informed by relevant product owners and customer insights to ensure strategic alignment with organisational priorities.
Provide leadership and direction to product owners and effectively manage agreed product outcomes to ensure successful delivery and a performance-based and customer-focused work culture.
Manage and coordinate regular reporting to provide assurance to senior leaders pertaining to product progress against the strategic roadmap.
Partner with the business and key stakeholders to effectively manage and deliver agreed benefits on a selected range of products for maximum value and a positive impact for the customer and a return on investment.
Attributes It is critical the incumbent possesses a high level of business and technical acumen and can traverse both.
The Business Architect will be adaptable and flexible in their approach to problem-solving in a dynamic business environment where change is a constant factor.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience Qualification or certification as a product owner with demonstrated experience managing a large-scale and complex product in an Agile environment or demonstratable extensive workplace experience within the discipline.
Experience in managing a team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) including setting up clear objectives, responsibilities, deliverables and associated timeframes for their roles.
Demonstrated superior expertise and a proven record of achievement managing a large and complex product lifecycle and leading multidisciplinary teams in a large and complex clinical ICT service environment.
