Your leadership and collaboration with key stakeholders will ensure that our product strategies align with both business priorities and customer needs.
By managing a cross-functional team, you'll contribute to the success of product delivery, ensuring Bupa is consistently innovating to provide exceptional customer outcomes and operational excellence.
You will add value by: Engaging with Product Delivery leaders, Product Managers, and Initiative Owners to understand their priorities and provide thought leadership for continuous improvement in Product Operations.
Leading and managing a cross-functional team, including two direct reports (Scrum Master and Business Analyst), to ensure the effective implementation of agile squad practices.
Aligning your team's work with the broader retention program vision and strategy, helping shape strategic goals to achieve customer-focused results.
Collaborating closely with business stakeholders to understand drivers, secure necessary approvals, and ensure business considerations are factored into product development.
Breaking down business requirements into epics, features, and user stories, working alongside Product Management and Business Analysts to ensure detailed specifications and acceptance criteria.
Managing and prioritising the team backlog, defining sprint goals and ensuring team focus on the most relevant features and roadmap initiatives for timely delivery.
About You This role is perfect for a highly motivated and adaptable individual with a passion for product management in the Health Insurance industry.
You have a proven ability to collaborate, lead, and deliver results across multiple streams.
Your experience with Agile practices, combined with a customer-centric mindset, will help you excel in driving product delivery and innovation.
To be considered for this role you will have: Demonstrated experience in the Health Insurance industry, including fulfillment of regulatory requirements.
Proven ability to communicate, facilitate, collaborate, and lead, knowing when to apply each skill effectively.
Experience working across multiple streams in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
Familiarity with Agile delivery environments, particularly as a Product Owner/Manager or Senior Business Analyst with similar responsibilities.
Strong ability to develop both functional and non-functional requirements that can be translated into epics and features.
Expertise in creating and refining team backlogs, applying different prioritisation techniques, and driving incremental value delivery.
