About the role: As Senior Finance Manager (Merchandise & Marketing) you will play a leading role in driving Priceline's growth and transformation.
You will provide trade analysis and insights to improve performance, and strategic and commercial advice to leadership on key initiatives.
You'll manage the P&L for the merchandise and marketing functions, including deliverable actionable plans to meet financial targets.
Key Responsibilities: Commercial Business Partnering: Collaborate with GMs of Merchandise, Marketing, and Retail Media to drive insights and decision-making.
Analyse trade performance to identify opportunities and risks, and develop action plans accordingly.
Conduct financial modelling in relation to key strategic initiatives, support business case development and provide strategic advice to key stakeholders.
Reporting, Budgeting & Corporate Planning: Own the annual budgeting process for your respective areas, and monthly forecasting, ensuring alignment with targets.
Contribute to the 5-year corporate plan and provide insightful reporting on performance drivers.
Day-to-Day Financial Management: Execute analysis and commentary on P&L results, prepare Board reporting materials, and track expenditure against budgets.
Identify risks and opportunities and collaborate with stakeholders to develop response plans.
Focus on process improvement and automation.
What you'll bring: Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance.
5+ years of relevant business partnering experience, preferably partnering the merchandise function within the retail industry.
Strong commercial focus with the ability to create actionable reports for senior management.
Proven ability to navigate complexity and build effective partnerships across functions.
Ability to lead a team and develop a high performing culture.
Experience in a lean environment with diverse responsibilities.
Extensive background in management accounting, performance management, business planning, and budgeting.
Critical thinker with strong cross-functional problem-solving skills.
Advanced Excel skills and experience in financial modelling with large data sets.
Experience in project financial evaluation (NPV, ROC) and business case preparation.
Proficient in large ERP systems and BI tools (e.g., SAP, BPC, Micro Strategy, Power BI).
