Position description: PD - Snr Mgr Commercial Credit Assurance.docx Closing date: 1 Oct 2024 Join our Commercial Credit Assurance team: a second line of defence team in the Bank's risk management framework which provides independent oversight of credit risk management across the business and agribusiness lending portfolios.
You bring to this role significant assurance, oversight, audit, compliance and/or risk management experience with the ability to analyse regulatory requirements and contribute to the planning and implementation of assurance strategies.
Strong lending and credit knowledge, particularly commercial lending experience, will be an advantage.
As a seasoned people leader, you drive performance through proactive development and performance management of your team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
You have the ability to build strong internal and external relationships and establish yourself as a trusted adviser.
Your negotiation, collaboration and interpersonal skills ensure you are able to engage stakeholders and business owners to work through assessment findings and influence uplift actions.
With a focus on process improvement and the application of key principles underpinning a modern risk function, you can standardise methodologies, use data-driven techniques and provide clarity and support to your team as they transition to a best practice operating model.
As a Senior Manager Commercial Credit Assurance , you'll get to: Develop and maintain a commercial credit assurance program which supports the Bank's preferred credit risk profile and uplift capabilities and processes.
Lead an experienced and engaged Commercial Credit Assurance team; guiding the team to undertake reviews and successfully achieve key result areas.
Provide thought leadership concerning commercial credit assurance to key stakeholders and senior management across the Business and Agribusiness, Customer Enablement and Group Risk Divisions.
Provision of a range of reporting to Senior Management, committees and Board.
This is a full-time, permanent position which can be based out of any of our Corporate Office locations across the country.
