About the Role As a Senior Risk Analyst in our Lending Securities Management program, you'll play a key role in helping to integrate the new Lending Securities Management system within retail risk systems and processes.
This role is responsible for supporting the Retail Risk Lead and Lending Securities Management (LSM) program with implementing a new securities management solution to replace the existing system.
Specifically, you will play a key role in articulating & finalising requirements & specifications, analyze the impacts, and liaise with the capital reforms and acquisitions teams in design, development, and implementation of the new system in the retail risk lifecycle.
Role Type: 12 months secondment/fixed term Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC What will your day look like? As a Senior Risk Analyst, you will: Liaise with the Acquisitions team to consolidate their requirements along with the Retail Risk Capital reforms and models requirements.
Analyze & understand interdependencies across business areas for the set of requirements being finalised for the capital requirements, due to the change in the securities management system.
Elicit business and data requirements and work closely with senior business and technology stakeholders.
Participate & contribute to the conversations with various stakeholders on the requirements, solution design and delivery.
What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Strong experience in risk management for retail products, especially Home Loans.
Experience in working through the lifecycle of secured products, with a good understanding of the finer definitions of computations & dependencies for calculations of Loan-to-value ratio for Origination LVR (OLVR), Current LVR (CLVR) or Dynamic LVR (DLVR).
Strong understanding of impact analysis of change to systems for retail products related to capital & securities management.
Ability to assess the impact of change to RWA and demonstrate ability to make suitable calculations.
Strong analytical, numerical, research and problem-solving ability to turn data into information and information into actionable business decisions.
Hands-on experience of engaging with teams to solve data quality issues and put in place proxy solutions for challenges related to data sourcing.
Good understanding of design & construct of business validation & testing for various scenarios and test cases.
Responsible to perform business validation to evaluate outcomes and ensure that it aligns to the requirements.
Skilled at the use of facts in discussions and communication with staff and peers.
