The Role As a member of the School Executive and Campus Leadership team at Caulfield Grammar School, the Deputy Principal – Head of Caulfield Campus will lead the implementation of the School's strategic vision and act as a pedagogical leader, focused on delivering key outcomes in Teaching and Learning.
They will also manage the campus's daily operations, while applying a system-wide perspective that supports the School's "One School" approach.
Key Duties Demonstrate a One School approach through active collaboration with the Campus Leadership Team, alignment between the campuses, co-curricular areas and the 2031 Strategy.
Oversee the development and delivery of Campus operational plans.
Lead the implementation of School initiatives to leverage operational improvement.
Management and implementation of systems to monitor standards of safety, social conduct, uniform, punctuality and attendance.
Pursue academic excellence with a passion, delivering outstanding outcomes.
Ensure high quality and inclusive teaching and learning standards are delivered through continually developing, reviewing, and refining learning strategies.
Identify improvement opportunities and enhance the schools learning programme for students and employees.
Assist in developing the School's internal capability, including a high-performance culture identifying talent focussed on excellence and improvement.
Provide effective and inspiring leadership by being actively involved throughout the School.
Deliver the School's vision, strategy and values with a sense of shared purpose and direction, creating alignment within and between the sub-schools and co-curricular areas.
Be aware of, understand and ensure compliance with the School's Child Safety Code of Conduct, including the Child Safe Standards, and all relevant policies and procedures.
Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours.
Skills and Experience Experience leading and implementing Teaching and Learning outcomes in a School with an outstanding reputation.
Previous senior leadership experience in a large secondary educational school; experience with complex, multiple-campus schools is ideal.
Experience in the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) is desirable.
Experience in leading pedagogical and curriculum change; the ability to operationalise strategic decisions, enhance culture, and enable quality learning.
Experience designing, leading and executing large scale, system thinking projects/initiatives, across complex and/or multi-campus schools.
Proven exemplary communication and interpersonal skills.
Hold current VIT Registration.
