Humanities Teacher - Alternative Provision

Humanities Teacher Full time Pupil referral unit Leeds We are currently recruiting for a Humanities teacher to start ASAP.
This is a full-time position at an alternative provision Academy in the South of Leeds.
You will need to be confident in teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
The unit provides education for students who have been excluded from mainstream schools and will have behavioural difficulties.
They will require someone with a thick skin, determination , and enthusiasm in their teaching and learning style.
Class sizes are very small, with a maximum of 8 pupils per class.
Job Specification & Description: QTS or equivalent is required.
A degree with a specialist subject in Sociology, Humanities, Geography, History, or equivalent is necessary.
Plan and prepare lessons adapted to encourage development.
Strong behaviour management skills.
Clear spoken communication.
Follow school behaviour policies.
Motivate and engage pupils with an enthusiastic and imaginative delivery.
Have a DBS on the Subscription Service or be willing to apply for a new one.
